Our Story

Born from
Haiti's roots

I grew up surrounded by the healing power of plants and nature.
I watched my grandfather travel from home to home, offering massage râlé to those who called on him.
When I was sick — fever, flu — I remember how a simple ritual could transform everything. A bath of leaves. A koulè tèt. And suddenly, I would fall asleep feeling lighter, soothed, almost healed.
My mother continued this legacy in her own way. I watched her prepare her remedies with care — maskriti oil, orange warmed in Barbancourt rum, sea water baths.
These were not just treatments. They were traditions. They were knowledge. They were love.
This is the heritage that shaped me.
Today, through Hibiscus Haiti Spa, I have chosen to bring it back to life — with intention, with elegance, and with respect for where it comes from.
So that our culture may shine and be experienced beyond our shores.
